If you're not a professional, you can't possibly know what the owner is looking for. To spend hours on the phone, going over dates, condition, etc. Just stop in. The owner is very straight forward. He doesn't want to waste his time or yours. His offer was fair and quick. If you are trying to sell, then realize this is a business, for profit. "JUST GO TO CLEMSON COINS! Hands down the BEST buyer for your jewelry & coins! I went to a few other places that were enroute to Clemson Coins — let's just say I was offered between 20% and 40% melt value at the other places. Within 5 minutes and no goofing around with acid tests (they have an XRF machine) I was offered more than a reasonable percentage of melt value from Clemson Coins. Don't get GOT at the other places!
